Field Armor Probably of Sir John Scudamore (1541 or 1542–1623)
Full-body armor made of metal, likely steel, displayed on a circular base. The armor consists of multiple pieces: a helmet with a visor covering the face, a breastplate covering the torso, articulated gauntlets for the hands, and greaves and cuisses for the legs. Articulated sections allow for flexibility in the elbows, shoulders, and knees. The surface appears polished to a high shine. The armor stands upright on a round, flat base.
