A scroll painting depicting two men. The man on the left has dark hair pulled into a top knot, and wears a dark robe with red and white stripes on the sleeves and collar. He also wears a priest's robe over his left shoulder. The man on the right wears a green robe with the same type of red and white stripes and has a similar hairstyle; he holds a flute in both hands. The background is tan with Japanese writing at the top and bottom.
