Seated Female Goddess
The statue depicts a seated female with a serene facial expression. The figure has a smooth face with eyes that are cast downward. Her hair is styled in an elaborate fashion with a crown of flowers on her head. Two large flowers are positioned on either side of her head, near her ears. She has no clothing on her upper body and appears to have a cloth wrapped around her lower body. Her right arm is bent at the elbow and her right hand rests on her right knee. Her left arm is also bent at the elbow and positioned across her body. The statue appears to be made of stone and has a weathered appearance. The statue sits on a black base. The background is dark. The overall style suggests an ancient or classical influence, possibly from Southeast Asia.
