The sculpture depicts the head of a Bodhisattva by an unknown artist. The head is made of stone and is light brown in color with darker brown and gray patches. The face is oval-shaped and has a serene expression. The eyes are almond-shaped and slanted slightly upwards at the outer corners. The eyebrows are thin and straight. The nose is straight and proportional to the rest of the face. The lips are thin and slightly pursed. The mouth is small. The hair is curly and styled in a series of small curls that cover the top of the head. A single curl hangs down from the left side of the head. The background of the image is a plain light grey color. The object casts a shadow to the right. The object is photographed straight on.
