The Buddha wears a simple robe draped over the left shoulder. The right hand is in the lap, and the left hand makes a gesture with the palm facing outwards. The face has a subtle smile and half-closed eyes. The head is topped with a conical buddha cap. Behind the figure, an elaborate arch frames a round halo. The sculpture has a terracotta color with some lighter areas of wear. The background behind the sculpture is dark gray.
