The plaque is irregularly shaped and roughly a quarter circle with a flat edge on the left side, The surface is reddish-brown terracotta with some green patina on the right side. The woman is depicted wearing a large earring in each ear, a short necklace, and a garment over her right shoulder and across her chest. The right arm is bent at the elbow with the hand resting on the right thigh. The left arm is raised and bent at the elbow with the left hand on the right shoulder. The woman's hair is styled up and away from her face with a headpiece on her forehead. The plaque sits on a black metal stand with a rectangular base and a single vertical pole. The background is white. The plaque is titled "Plaque with a Royal Woman" by an unknown artist.
