Head of a Male Figure
The sculpture depicts a male head. The head is tilted slightly to the right, with the face looking straight ahead. The face has a nose, mouth, and eyes; the eyes are closed. The head is made of stone and appears weathered. The hair on top of the head is sculpted in a way that resembles a turban or head wrap. There are two curved sections on either side of the head that resemble ears or possibly parts of the head wrap; the left one has several circular indentations. The background is plain and light-colored, with a shadow cast by the sculpture on the left side.
