Top of a Scepter by Unknown Artist. The object has a long, thin handle. The handle is light-colored, wrapped with bands of raised ornamental patterns. The top third of the handle features a pair of carved lions or other animals on either side. Above that is a square base adorned with a row of triangular-shaped objects. A thin section connects to a round base adorned with triangular-shaped objects protruding from the bottom. The top features a wide dish with many curved triangular protrusions around its edge. The dish supports a rounded object with a cone-shaped top adorned with a carved frieze.
