Demons on an Elephant with Nan Brah Dharani, the Earth Goddess, Wringing Water from Her Hair

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Green metal sculpture of an elephant with four figures. The elephant faces right. A figure sits on top of the elephant's back. The figure sits cross-legged and wears a tall, triangular headdress. On the elephant's tail is a small standing figure with one arm raised holding an object over their head. The figure's other arm is by their side. Two figures stand on the elephant's head. The figure on the right holds a long object in both hands that stretches across their body. The figure on the left holds both hands out, one above the other, toward the elephant's face. The elephant has a long, thin tail and its ears are down. Its tusks are not visible. The sculpture stands on a white surface and the background fades from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom. There is a shadow under the sculpture.
