Fragment of a Statue by Auguste Rodin. A light gray, stone sculpture of a mouth and chin. The mouth has thin lips that are pressed together. The top lip has two defined vertical lines from the nostrils to the mouth. There are three wrinkles on the top lip between the nose and mouth. The nose is not present. The chin is rounded and smooth. The surface of the sculpture shows small dark spots and patches, indicating age and wear. The background is plain and light-colored.
