Reddish-brown ceramic dish, round in shape. The interior surface features embossed design. Two peafowls surrounded by peony flowers and leaves. The peafowls have detailed feathers; one faces left, the other right. The rim of the dish is smooth. The background of the image fades from dark at the top to light at the bottom. The dish casts a shadow on the surface below.
