Red, circular box with a lid, made of a material resembling cinnabar or lacquer. The box has an intricate design featuring dragons and clouds. The dragons are depicted in relief, curled around the lid in various positions. Clouds are also carved around the lid, between and around the dragons. The box's body and lid are separated by a band of Greek key pattern. The background of the image fades from black at the top to gray at the bottom. The box casts a shadow to the right. The artist is unknown but the piece is referred to as "Box with dragons in clouds".
