The box is square with rounded corners and slightly raised edges. The lid is flat. The box is dark brown with a design of gold and shiny white inlays. The inlays form a floral pattern with stems that curl. There are also scattered dots of various sizes. A large, curled stem dominates the center. The box appears to be made of lacquer. The background is gray.
