The object, titled Snuff Bottle by an unknown artist, is a dark-colored, rounded bottle; a circular opening at the top tapers to a narrower circular rim with a protruding lip; on the body, the artist carved a design with a humanoid creature; the creature has large bulging eyes, a long nose, and a small mouth; two curved fans or hair or ears extend from the head; the body narrows to a thin neck; two arms extend to the sides; on either side of the body near the top; there are semi-circular with radiating lines; on the back, under the semi-circular designs a vessel with a curved handle; a long curved line extends from the mouth down to the bottom; the bottom rounded; shadow on the right; against a light-colored background.
