Snuff Bottle by Mark Rothko. A rounded, dark-colored, glass or metal snuff bottle with a domed lid. The body of the bottle is primarily gray with dark and light patches and irregular white lines. The surface appears weathered. The bottle has a short neck and the lid has a small knob on top. Two small protrusions or handles are visible on either side. The background is plain white.
