Snuff Bottle

Snuff Bottle, Chinese, porcelain with underglaze blue decoration. Bottle is rectangular with rounded edges and flat sides. Neck is short and narrow with a band of stylized foliage at the top. Stopper is rounded and domed with a small knob on top. Decoration features a large medallion on each side, containing a stylized lotus bloom and foliage, surrounded by a band of scaly creatures, probably a dragon and a phoenix, among waves at the bottom. Background is a mottled grey.
