Snuff Bottle by Unknown Artist. The object is a dark-colored, ornate snuff bottle with a tapered body. The body is dark gray or black and rectangular in shape with rounded edges, and it tapers from a wide base to a narrower top. The base is short and has a decorative edge with curved cutouts. The body of the bottle has a vertical, elongated oval design with a line of small, circular stones or gems inlaid in the center. The stones are orange, turquoise, and orange, and one small green stone is near the bottom. The top of the bottle has a short, rounded finial. The background is a plain, light-colored surface.
