White jade sculpture of a boy and a water buffalo. The jade has yellow spots throughout. The boy is standing on the left side of a crouching water buffalo. The boy faces right. He is carved with short hair in a bun on top of his head. He wears a long tunic. His right arm is bent at the elbow and holds the left horn of the water buffalo. His left arm is bent at the elbow and holds a branch. The water buffalo faces right. Its head is lowered and its mouth reaches towards the ground near its front knee. The jade has a slight greenish tint. The background is dark grey.
