Handled Bowl

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Handled Bowl by Kuroda Tatsuo. A gray ceramic bowl with a rough texture and small dark spots on its surface. The bowl is rounded with a wide mouth and a small handle protruding from one side, curved upward and ending in a tapered point, resembling a duck's neck or a swan's. A line encircles the bowl near the rim. The bowl casts a shadow on a white background.
