They have their mouths open. The one on the right appears to have a band around its neck. A small branch with leaves and fruit or flowers is carved between the fish. The background of the image is light grey. A ruler is placed at the bottom of the image. The text "The Metropolitan Museum of Art" is printed on a small white rectangle at the bottom.
