Her hair is styled in a bun on the back of her head. She wears a kimono with a design of waves and boats. The kimono has a wide black stripe along the hem and a narrower stripe on the shoulder. The woman holds an open folding fan in her right hand. The background of the print is a light brown color with some darker brown spots and lines. There are several lines of Japanese text on the right side of the print, including a seal or stamp near the bottom. A small red seal is located in the bottom-right corner.
