The vase, one of a pair, artist not specified, is a white, cylindrical vessel with a flat top and a wide, flat base. The vase has a wide mouth and tapers slightly towards the base. The body of the vase features intricate black designs and patterns. A wide band of black and white design encircles the top of the vase. Below this band is a large, symmetrical, teardrop-shaped motif with curved lines and floral patterns. This central motif is flanked on either side by similar but incomplete designs. A smaller band of design encircles the base of the vase. The base of the vase is black and has a decorative edge. The background of the image behind the vase is gray.
