The body of the cup is decorated with six rectangular panels. One panel depicts a figure in traditional clothing. Another panel shows a plant with large rounded leaves. A third panel shows a tree. The base of the cup has a geometric pattern around it. The cup by Christopher and his wife, designed by Willem van der Ast.
