The object is a kettle. The kettle has a handle that curves over the top. The handle is attached on either side of the kettle, one on the lid and one on the body. The spout is on the left and is straight. The kettle has a bulbous body with a narrower lid. The lid has a small knob on top. The kettle and lid are decorated with an etched floral design. The background is light gray.
