Vase has a narrow foot and a wide, rounded body that tapers to a narrow neck and flared mouth. The vase is primarily red with a green glaze around the top third. The green glaze has red speckles and irregularly covers the top of the vase, stopping in a rough line. The background is gray. The vase is by Makuzu Kōzan I (Miyagawa Toranosuke).
