Covered Jar
The Covered Jar by Royal Copenhagen is a tall, ornate jar with a lid. The jar has an elongated body that tapers towards the top and bottom. The lid features a short, thick finial on top. The jar's body has two circular medallions depicting scenes; one appears to show people in a garden or yard setting around a table, and the other features a shield with more detailed engravings. The medallions are surrounded by raised floral motifs and leaves. Two female figures are positioned on either side near the top of the jar. The entire piece is intricately decorated. It sits on a white surface against a gray background.
