The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The Four-Legged Jar (Yonsoku-tsubo) by Leach, Bernard is a tan-colored ceramic jar. The jar has a wide, rounded body. The jar's body resembles a barrel with a narrow opening at the top. There are four raised lines around the body that form sections. There are three short legs at the bottom. There are two loop handles on either side. The background is a gradient that gets darker at the top.
