Meiping vase with dragon
A white ceramic vase with a narrow lip and a small, circular opening at the top; the body of the vase is bulbous and tapers down to a narrower base. A dragon with a large head and curved claws wraps around the upper part of the vase, its body extending from the right side towards the left. The dragon has a long tail and appears to be surrounded by clouds or waves. The lower part of the vase features a design of swirling clouds or waves. A small ruler-like scale is placed in front of the vase. Black text on a small white rectangle reads "THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART". A Meiping vase with a dragon design by an unknown artist.
