Shard: Neckpiece with Figure Looking Back
Terracotta neckpiece with a figure looking back. The piece is curved and roughly rectangular in shape. The background color is orange clay. A design with a black glaze on the outside features a figure. The figure looks backwards and has a large head, and a long neck. Only the figure's torso and head are visible. The neckpiece or collar has a flat bottom and rises at the edges. The inside of the piece shows signs of wear and the remains of the black glaze on the outside spills over onto the inside. The piece casts a shadow on a light gray background.
