Tile with Vajra, originally from the "Porcelain Pagoda"
Gray stone tile with protruding ornate decoration. The tile has a flat rectangular base, a raised decorative section in the center with protruding cylindrical handles on either side. The decorative section consists of a central circle surrounded by a ring with a design. This ring is surrounded by a square with rounded corners and a design on each side. The square is surrounded by four curved sections with a flame-like pattern. The top of the tile appears to be broken off. The right edge of the tile is also broken off in a jagged line. The tile sits on a flat surface with a small ruler in front. The background is a plain wall. The artist and title of the piece are "The Metropolitan Museum of Art" and "Tile with Vajra, originally from the Porcelain Pagoda".
