The crane is white with black tail feathers and black on top of its head. Behind the crane are large banana tree leaves. The leaves are dark gray and have light gray shading. There are ferns and grass at the bottom. In the top right corner, there are several lines of Chinese calligraphy. There are also several red seals throughout the painting.
