The Metropolitan Museum of Art

A ceramic sake cup, titled Sake Cup (Guinomi), has a rounded bowl shape with a short foot. The interior and exterior surface is glazed in shades of beige and brown, with darker spots and streaks. The glaze is unevenly applied, with a darker rim around the top edge and unglazed areas on the foot. The background is a gradient, transitioning from dark gray at the top to light gray at the bottom, with a shadow cast by the cup on the lower right side.
