The Tripod incense burner by unknown artist depicts a bulbous pot with a short neck and a wide mouth that has scalloped edges. The pot sits on three legs. The exterior has a two-tone glaze; the top portion features a predominantly light-colored glaze with dark streaks, while the lower portion is predominantly dark with light streaks. The base of the pot and the feet have chips in the glaze revealing a lighter-colored body beneath. The background is plain and light-colored, with a shadow cast by the pot to the left.
