The Metropolitan Museum of Art

The image depicts a traditional Japanese woodblock print of a large bridge spanning a river. The bridge has a yellow roadway and railings, supported by 12 tall orange pillars. The bridge curves slightly as it crosses the river. The river below has blue and gray wavy lines indicating the water and several small islands. There are several white, red, and yellow parasols on the river and several boats. There are trees and bushes along the riverbanks, and a mountain is visible in the background on the right. The sky is a gradient of blue at the top to beige at the horizon. There are Japanese characters written vertically on a beige rectangle on the top right and two red seals on the bottom right.
