She wears a kimono with full, gathered sleeves and a low neckline; the kimono has an intricate design on the lower hem and along the top edge. The bed frame has a low headboard. The bed has a patterned cover at the foot. There are two containers on the floor; one is cylindrical and narrow. The background shows a tsubo vase and other objects on a low table. The background also shows outdoor scenery through a window or shoji screen; visible are a fence and a green area. The color palette includes shades of beige, green, blue and black.
