The artwork depicts two black crows perched on a branch of a pine tree. The crows are positioned on a diagonal branch that runs from the bottom-left to the top-right corner of the painting. One crow faces forward on the left; the other crow faces away on the right. The branch has pine needles and smaller branches extending from it. There are also some grasses or bushes at the base of the branch. The background of the painting is a light brown color. The painting is done in black ink with some red accents. The red accents appear in a small square seal in the bottom-right corner. There is also some black calligraphy to the right of the seal.
