A woman in a traditional Japanese kimono is tying a curtain. The kimono has a pink and blue pattern on the bottom half and pink with a yellow and blue pattern on the top half. Her hair is styled in a traditional Japanese manner and she wears a headpiece. She is standing on the left side of the image. To her right is a boat-shaped vase with a long curved stem of chrysanthemums. The chrysanthemums have yellow flowers. To the right of the chrysanthemums is a white narcissus in a white vase on a low table. The background is beige with Japanese characters on the right side.
