Depicts a snowy scene with a blue and white gradient sky; dark trees; white clouds; blue and white gradient ground; deep blue at the top; fades to white then light blue; then deep blue at bottom. Two covered structures; the one on the left has a blue roof; yellow walls; and a fenced-in area with what appears to be a hanging basket on the left; two people carry baskets on their backs; one on the left bends over. People on horseback; one on a yellow horse; and people walking; one person on the right holds a stick; wear winter clothing; kimonos; and head coverings. Japanese characters; black ink; on the top left; top center; and bottom right. Red seal; appears to be a stamp; on the top center; and a small red mark; on the bottom right. The work is titled "Narumi, Meibutsu Arimatsu Shibori" and was created by Utagawa Hiroshige.
