A triptych of three panels depicting a scene of two women in traditional Japanese clothing. The left panel shows a green patterned wall or screen with vertical stripes on the right side and a floral arrangement on the left that is being chased by a dog with long colorful ribbons trailing from it. The center panel features a woman in a kimono with a floral pattern wearing a predominantly white garment over it and adorned with a hairpin, facing to the left and away from the viewer. The right panel shows a kneeling woman in a pink kimono with floral patterns, facing away from the viewer and toward a low table or shelf that has two stacked boxes or cases on it. The artwork includes kanji characters on the top and bottom right. The background is a light beige color. The title "Chiyoda Castle (Album of Women)" and artist "Yōshū (Hashimoto) Chikanobu" are associated with the image.
