Left panel depicts two cranes standing in shallow water with wave lines. One crane faces left with head lowered, the other faces right with head raised near a cloud-like shape. Right panel shows three cranes on land, two facing left and one on the right facing right with wings spread. All cranes have long necks, legs, and sharp beaks.
