The background shows a body of water with blue waves, and a coastline with green hills on the right and a town on the left. The top half of the image is filled with dark gray smoke, through which white and blue flames are bursting. The flames have a red lining on the inside. A red vertical rectangle with black Japanese characters is on the right side. A red seal with Japanese characters is in the bottom-left corner. The title of the print is "Print by Utagawa Yoshikazu".
