Cylindrical case with rounded ends. Made from bronze or brass, with a brown patina. The case is divided into sections by horizontal lines. The obverse features a mountain, presumably Mount Fuji, rising above rice fields. The reverse depicts pines and cloud bands in autumn, with a darker patina. The images on the case are intricately etched into the metal surface. The case rests on a braided cord or rope base. Black cord looped through a metal loop at the top. Displayed side-by-side to show both obverse and reverse.
