
Tympanum
Tympanum by Jože Plečnik. Gray stone circular object with a diameter slightly less than twice its thickness. The face has multiple concentric circular patterns etched into it, including lines radiating from the center. The outer edge has an etched rope-like design. A zoomorphic pattern of four identical birds or animals with large eyes are positioned at equally spaced intervals around the circle. The background is dark with a light source coming from the upper right.
