Case (Inrō) with Design of Chrysanthemums
Rectangular, dark brown, lacquered case with rounded corners and horizontal lines across. The case has a black cord threaded through two small holes on the top. The case is decorated with a design of chrysanthemums rendered in shades of gold, silver, and red. A large flower on the bottom-left side has thin, radiating lines, while similar flowers are on the top-right and center-right. Leaves are depicted around the flowers, curving and overlapping. The background of the case is dark brown with a reddish tint. A second, identical case is positioned to the right.
