Inrō with Tanabata Story of the Weaver and the Herdboy by Nomura Kyūkoku. Rectangular object made of shiny material with shades of gray and white resembling mother of pearl; the object consists of several horizontal sections; a shiny gold-colored decoration of a house or building; a purple cord threaded through a small hole at the top; the cord has a gold and black bead; the cord extends up and out of the top; a gold-colored circular object with tree branches and several black and green birds; the background is light gray.
