Small gourd on a halved-gourd netsuke by Anraku. The object is made of polished brown material, possibly wood or ivory. The main part is shaped like a gourd cut in half lengthwise. A small, uncut gourd sits on top. Three tiger's eye beads are positioned above the small gourd. An orange cord is threaded through the beads. Black Japanese characters are etched on the side. The background is light-colored and flat.
