Yellow carved figurine of man and child. Man standing with right knee slightly bent and left leg straight. He is wearing a robe with a diagonal cross pattern across chest. Man plays a double-reed instrument to his lips with his right hand. His left hand extended to the chest of a small child crouched to his left. The child wears a robe with same pattern as man. Child looks up with both hands clasped in front of chest. Child's right leg tucked under body, left leg bent with foot on ground. Both figures smooth and shiny with fine lines on robe. Object against a light gray background. Title is "Netsuke of Man and Child", by an unknown artist.
