Netsuke of Bird in an Egg

A small, oval-shaped object made of light-brown material, possibly ivory or wood, resembling an egg. The egg is cracked down the left side and across the top. A figure with a large head, small body and hands is pushing through the crack in the top. The figure has a large face with bulging eyes, a flat nose and mouth, and two hands with four fingers each pushing against the egg.
