Netsuke of Shichi Fukujin
The sculpture depicts a group of seven men. The central figure has a rounded face, open mouth and wears a headband and robes. The figure to the left of him is on one knee and holds a pipe. A second figure beside him on the left sits on the ground and holds a horizontal object. The figure to his right kneels and holds a stringed instrument. A figure on his left wears a head covering and holds an object to their face. Two additional figures are behind and atop the group. All figures have rounded faces and wear robes. The sculpture appears to be made of carved ivory. The background is gray.
