Ivory netsuke, cylindrical in shape, resembling a piece of bamboo. The top and bottom have darker shading to imitate the nodes on bamboo. A band of raised, circular, white and brown decoration around top. A small metal loop on top. A carved, bat or rat figure protruding from side. The figure has a light green and pink inlay on its body. The background is a plain gray color.
